The city broke a water main supposedly and for 3 weekdays in a row we've had someone doing very loud work in the apartment above us from this company. These employees stomp around, drop things, yell, and have no regard for anyone in the building. It has affected my PTSD and we had absolutely no notice. I'm not sure how 5+ hours a day for 3 business days isn't enough. Power tools going for hours and I work from home so it's impacted my employment. Extremely unprofessional and plain rude. We will be making a complaint with the county for a noise disturbance since it exceeded the max decibels and length of time that is reasonable and designated by the county. Don't go with them if you want someone who values getting work done in a timely manner and that pays attention to how dropping tools and banging on walls affects people in the living space.

Mario’s Plumbing Heating and Air were wonderful to work with! They replaced our water heater after discovering it wasn’t repairable. They were knowledgeable, honest, kind, hard-working, efficient, and best of all, the most fair price in town! If I could rate more than 5 stars I would! Highly recommend and will use again and again!

Fair pricing, friendly and professional, quick to respond and the tech cleaned up the entire area after replacing my water heater. Would definitely recommend!

Most of these five star reviews have to be fake… I had a few jobs “completed” by Mario’s plumbing a while back at our office and it was a disaster. The whole crew is incompetent and constantly lying about what jobs they’ve done. They cut corners without even hiding it and are so sloppy. They’ve damaged flooring and granite without taking any accountability. The second you bring any of it up you will be told to get a lawyer and sue.

I am wondering about 5 star reviews on this business….Are they telling the true? How frustrated we have dealt with Mario Plumbing last few months. We hired him installing the Elkay water fountain. He did not finish the installation properly in the first time but my staff did not know that so we paid him without any questions. Two weeks later, our staff reported the water smell weird and noticed the filter red light was on. We called him back to fix it but he always dodged around with excuses that his workers were either on vacation or having doctor appointments…I repeatedly demanded him back that our staff, clients and students are in need of high quality drinking water. It is critical matter. Finally, Mario sent someone in but they were unable to fix it. First, Mario claimed it was broken water filter….We ordered the new filer per Mario’s request….still can’t fix it…. Then, he claimed the water fountain was broken. My staff called manufacturer and they helped us on the phone how to turn off the red light. Ironically, Mario told us that he does not know how to fix the red light. ….. Long story short, we need Mario to fix the rest of his mess because our staff does not have the right tools to finish the job. Mario yelled to our staff today that “Go to hire a lawyer to sue me. I am not sending anyone to fix your water foundation” DO NOT HIRE THIS BUSINESS! Rude, incompetent, not reliable…

I would highly recommend this business. I called them because I had a leak in my basement. They came the same day and fixed it. Other companies told me to wait. Mario’s plumbing and heating was very professional and the price was really good. They fixed my leak And I’m so grateful because it was spreading on my carpet in the basement. They were punctual, professional, and they did an amazing job. They cleaned up everything after themselves and I was very impressed. I would highly recommend them because they know what they’re doing. 10 out of 10 for service knowledge and professionalism. I am so happy that I have found plumbing company that I can call and know that they would come. Again highly recommend!

Zero stars is what this company deserves. I work at a non-profit Organization in downtown Salt Lake City. We contracted Mario's Plumbing Jan 2022 for a water fountain install. The drinking fountain came with very precise instructions. The person who came to do the install did not follow the instructions or put in the time to correctly reroute the water lines. Mario’s plumbing left the drinking fountain not working and with error lights. But this was just the start of the troubles with them. We have continued to ask for them to correct the mistakes that were made. But after being paid Mari the owner/manager has been very dodgy. He first blamed the water filter and gave the incorrect part number which resulted in us miss-ordering parts (few hundred dollars). He then blamed manufacturing company and would not respond to emails within a two month span. Mari over the span of 4 months gave every excuse possible to miss appointments to come back, including his tech had a tummy ache.. I pulled the front panel off the fountain and could see an unattached and dangling motherboard and other wires that were not grounded. Lastly, Mari’s last conversation end with him hanging up on me after telling me to ”Go and get a lawyer, I’m not sending people to fix your fountain.”

Mario was recommended by my home warranty provider to service my water heater (needed replacement under warranty, which he did, same day, at the price quoted). This was two years ago. I called him again on Friday April 27th, and he remembered me. I called him because I thought the other water heater needed service, but it didn't. He talked me through a simple procedure to restart that heater, instead of making a service call to do that. Nice, friendly, honest. Use this gentleman's service.
